Last week, two close friendships ended. 

One parting was amicable, handled with great maturity and dignity. I am thankful for that. 

The second one, full of unnecessary emotional drama from the other end, which I am finding so difficult to deal with. This is why the friendship is technically not over. But it has changed, that's for sure. I hope this friend admits that we have grown apart instead of refusing to face the truth.
